The Closer You Are The Less You See

We’ve had some interesting conversations with both believers and unbelievers over the last few weeks about life; specifically where they see themselves now and where they see themselves in the future.

I’m continually amazed at how people see the world and even more specifically how they interpret the events and circumstances of their life. Sometimes it’s through the perspective of fear and sometimes through faith.

One of the greatest opportunities that you and I have in international church ministry is helping people view the world through Scripture as they interpret life. By doing life together, we create a Biblical culture and shape perspectives that become transformational.

In 1 Thessalonians 2:8 Paul said, “We loved you so much, we were delighted to share with you not only the gospel of God but our lives as well.”

That is IC ministry at it’s core! We not only share the Gospel but our lives as well. John Maxwell says every follower needs a great leader. I believe every person needs an influential voice in their life to help see what we don’t see.
