BECAUSE RELATIONSHIPS MATTER

Final Summer Reflections

I hope you’re enjoying summer!

With all of its activities and a different rhythm of life, it will soon be over; the kids will be back at school and our fall season of ministry will be in full swing.

I just want to encourage you today to take a few moments while we’re still enjoying this summer rhythm and reflect on what really matters.
Jesus reminds us in Matthew 6:33 – “But seek first His Kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.”

Here’s a few suggestions to think about:
▪ It’s better to have less of what doesn’t matter and more of what does.
It’s so important to distinguish what is temporal and what is eternal yet if we’re honest, we spend so much time engaged in the temporal.

▪ It’s better to live by design than by default.
Every day counts… every day matters… So, if we really believe God orders our steps, then let’s fully engage in His design.

▪ It’s better to get the right things done not just more things done.
Many times we measure how successful we are or how busy we are by how many things we accomplish. Life is not about doing more… it’s about doing what’s right.

Micah 6:8 – “What does God require of you? Do justly, love mercy and walk humbly with your God.”

We pray you have a great summer and make some wonderful memories… but don’t forget to take time to reflect.

Don’t forget to take a moment and register for our 2019 FEIC Summit. You can find all the information below but please contact us if you have any questions.

We’re praying for you this week!
