BECAUSE RELATIONSHIPS MATTER

Don’t Stop Believing

Hebrews 11:30 says “By faith the walls of Jericho fell after the people had marched around them for seven days.”

This has always been one of my favorite Bible stories!

Can you really imagine the faith and courage it must have taken to just keep walking around the walls for 7 days?

Imagine the sarcasm and cynical comments as they marched around. Imagine the questions Joshua must have received from those he was leading.

Yet, they kept believing because they had heard from God.

Here’s a few thoughts for what it’s worth I plan to share this Sunday:

▪ Believe when you don’t see the answer
Remember the definition of faith – “faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see.” Sometimes we may not see it but don’t stop believing!

▪ Keep believing when nothing changes
I can only imagine what it must have been like for Abraham, Joseph, Moses, Job and many others who persevered in faith even when nothing was changing.

▪ Keep believing when it doesn’t make sense
Hebrews 11:30 says the walls fell AFTER the people had marched around them for seven days.

God invites us to participate in the miraculous. It made no sense in the natural and neither do many challenges we face but don´t stop believing!

We’re praying for you and your team this week!

Larry
